Mr. Niraj Kumar Shrestha, appointed CEO of Sunrise Bank, requests postpone of joining date; Mrs. Asha Rana Adhikari to continue as acting CEO

Sunrise Bank Limited (SRBL) has published a notice regarding the appointment of Acting Chief Executive Officer (ACEO).

As per the notice published on NEPSE, the 317^th BOD meeting held on 22^nd Jestha, 2076 had decided that the duties of CEO of the bank will be undertaken by Mr. Niraj Kumar Shrestha from 2^nd Asadh, 2076. The tenure period for the same will be four years.

However, due to extreme circumstances, Mr. Shrestha had requested the board to postpone the date of joining office. Due to this, the acting CEO, Mrs. Asha Rana Adhikari will continue to hold office until the joining of Mr. Shrestha.

Newly appointed CEO Mr. Shrestha had begun his career from Standard Chartered Bank in the year 1989 and had 13 long years of experience with the same. He had also served as the CEO of ACE Finance for 3 years, later with NIC ASIA Bank and Global IME Bank in its senior level management, and lately with Machhapuchchhre Bank as its CEO.
