Muktinath Bikas Bank Concludes its 17th AGM; Endorses Proposal of 10.26% Dividend to Shareholders

Muktinath Bikas Bank (MNBBL) successfully conducted its 17th Annual General Meeting in Pokhara on the 28th day of Poush, 2080 B.S. The meeting approved the fiscal year 2079/80 annual report and endorsed a dividend distribution of 10.26% to shareholders. This dividend includes 9.75% in bonus shares and 0.51% in cash dividends for tax purposes.

During the meeting, Mr. Bharat Raj Dhakal, the Chairman of the Bank's Board of Directors, presided over the program. Mr. Gajendra Man Shrestha, a Board member, delivered a welcome speech, and Mr. Pradyuman Pokharel, the Bank's CEO, provided insights into the current status and future strategies. The meeting also addressed queries and suggestions from shareholders based on the annual report.

Furthermore, the Annual General Meeting resulted in the election of a new Board of Directors, including Mr. Bharat Raj Dhakal, Mr. Narayan Kumar Shrestha, Mr. Bharat Prasad Lamsal, Mr. Binod Kumar Sharma, and Mrs. Saroja Shrestha (Koirala). The selection was confirmed by Mr. Til Bahadur Gurung, the Chief Information Officer of the bank.
