Multipurpose Finance Company And Sabaiko Laghubitta Calls AGM: What Are The Agendas?

Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) has also called its 26th AGM 18th Falgun, 2080. The meeting will be held in the Company's Register Office, Rajbiraj, starting at 1:00 pm that day.

These are the agendas of the AGM:

1) Endorsement of financial reports for the fiscal year 2079/80.
2) Endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports.
3) Endorse the appointment of the auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81.
4) To approve the appointment of directors for the remaining term.
4) To elect 3 directors from promoter shareholding groups and 2 directors from public shareholding groups.
5) Expanding the working area of financial institutions.
6) To amend the article of the financial institutions.
7) Misc.

Falgun 6 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day can attend the AGM.

Similarly, Sabaiko Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SABSL) has also called its 7th AGM on 19th Falgun, 2080. The meeting will be held in Marsyangdi River View Resort, Bandipur-5, Tanahu, starting at 11 am that day.

These are the agendas of the AGM:

1) Endorsement of financial reports for the fiscal year 2079/80.
2) Endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports.
3) Endorse the appointment of the auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81.

Among the other agendas, the SGM will pass a resolution regarding evaluating and endorsing the Due Diligence Audit, Due Diligence Report, Business Plan and Projection, and Final Agreement Paper for a merger between Sabaiko Laghubitta (SABSL) and Sadhana Laghubitta (SDLBSL). The meeting will also pass an agenda to make necessary amendments to the Articles of Association as the company's authorized, issued, and paid-up capital will increase after the merger. After the completion of the merger between Sabaiko Laghubitta and Sadhana Laghubitta, the company will start financial transactions under the name of "Sabaiko Sadhana Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited".

Earlier, SDLBSL and SABSL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the merger on Bhadra 15, 2080.
