Nabil Bank Conducts Free Health Camp for Raute Community in Surkhet
Nabil Bank Limited conducted a free health camp for the Raute community in Surkhet, in collaboration with HEARD Nepal and the Public Health Service Office, Surkhet, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
A total of 137 people from 48 Raute families received medical check-ups, addressing health issues such as seasonal colds, pneumonia, skin diseases, and women's health concerns.
A medical team, led by Dr. Sujan Sapkota, provided health services including deworming, vitamins, and iron supplements. The camp aimed to promote health awareness and improve access to medical care while respecting the community's cultural practices.
Nabil Bank's CEO, Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana, emphasized the initiative's focus on enhancing health and sanitation. Local leaders, including Bhim Bahadur Bhandari, Chairman of Barahtal Rural Municipality, praised the bank's efforts to support marginalized communities. Nabil Bank remains committed to CSR activities that contribute to societal development.
