Nabil Bank Hosts ‘Women in Motion – Accelerate Action’ to Promote Gender Equality
Nabil Bank successfully organized the ‘Women in Motion – Accelerate Action’ program in Kathmandu, focusing on women empowerment, capacity building, inclusivity, and gender equality. The event was inaugurated by the bank’s independent director, Sarita Bhatta Adhikari, while Chairman Upendra Prasad Paudel reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to creating opportunities for women in the banking sector. Acting CEO Manoj Gyawali emphasized the need for increased female leadership in the industry, highlighting their role in governance and decision-making.
Nepal Super League Chairperson Ashrayata Karki Chaudhary praised Nabil Bank’s efforts in fostering workplace inclusivity and economic growth. The event featured a panel discussion titled ‘The C-Shift: Navigating Barriers and Catalyzing Leadership,’ where experts shared insights on breaking barriers for women in leadership. Nabil Bank has also been conducting various gender-focused programs, including financial literacy, workplace safety awareness, and wellness initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to gender equality in Nepal’s banking sector.
