Nadep Laghubitta Profitable By 52.22 Lakhs; Operating Profit Declines 92.47% and EPS Down At Rs. 1.43

Nadep Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NADEP) in its unaudited financial report of Q3, FY-79/80, has reported a decrease in the net profit by 89.95 percent coming down to Rs. 52.22 Lakhs in this quarter as compared to Rs. 5.19 Crores of the preceding previous quarter’s profit.
As per the third-quarter report published today, the microfinance company’s operating profit has decreased by 92.47% and is reported to have Rs. 53.25 Lakhs for this quarter. Also, the Net Interest Income of the company is decreased from Rs. 29.66 Crores to 21.67 crores in the relevant quarter.
The company collected Rs. 1.86 Arba from deposits and has the borrowings of Rs. 2.09 Arba while it was able to float Rs. 5.16 Arba as loans and advances during the third quarter.
Likewise, the paid-up capital of the company stands at Rs 48.5 crore with Rs 37.48 crore as its reserves and surplus. With this capital, microfinance maintained an EPS of Rs. 1.43, a decrease of 89.95% as compared to the previous year’s Q3 EPS of Rs.14.27.
