National Assembly Unanimously Passes 'Secured Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2080'
The National Assembly has unanimously passed the 'Secured Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2080'. The bill was presented in today's session by Finance Minister Barshaman Pun.
During the discussion, MPs Devendra Dahal and Kamala Pant provided their inputs on the bill. Addressing questions raised during the debate, Finance Minister Pun emphasized that the bill includes provisions to secure people's daily transactions, making them more practical and timely upon its passage.
In the same session, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma submitted the 23rd annual report of the National Human Rights Commission and the 5th annual report of the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission.
The National Assembly is scheduled to reconvene on June 18.
