Nepal Airlines' A-330 Aircraft Returns to Kathmandu After C-Check in Italy
Nepal Airlines' wide-body A-330 aircraft, call sign 'N ALY,' has returned to Kathmandu following a C-check maintenance in Italy. The aircraft, named Annapurna, departed for the maintenance check on June 22 and landed at Tribhuvan International Airport at 8:36 AM today, marking the completion of its two-and-a-half-month inspection.
Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) spokesperson Ramesh Paudel confirmed the arrival, stating that the national flag carrier is now set to enhance its services by operating three aircraft, including this wide-body plane, to various long-distance international destinations, excluding Japan.
Another wide-body aircraft from NAC is currently undergoing a C-check in Italy as well. Of the four Airbus planes in the national fleet, only two narrow-body aircraft were operational during the maintenance period. With the return of the A-330, Nepal Airlines aims to strengthen its international flight operations with the additional capacity provided by this aircraft.
