Nepal and China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance mutual cooperation in eight critical areas, including trade promotion, technical exchange, and collaboration. The agreement was formalized during a bilateral meeting between Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his Chinese counterpart, Li Qiang, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The signing took place in the presence of both prime ministers, marking a significant step in strengthening ties between the two nations.

Prior to the talks, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) honored Prime Minister Oli with a ceremonial guard of honor. The Nepali delegation, led by PM Oli, arrived in Beijing on December 2 for the official visit.
