Nepal and Thailand Strengthen Ties in Trade, Tourism, and Aviation

Nepal Chamber of Commerce and the Tourism Council of Thailand have signed an agreement to enhance cooperation in trade, tourism, and civil aviation. The MoU was signed in Bangkok in the presence of Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra by Nepal Chamber President Kamalesh Kumar Agrawal and Thai Tourism Council President Chai Arunanondchai.

The agreement focuses on promoting tourism, cultural exchange, investment, and aviation sector collaboration between the two nations. A joint task force will be formed to implement initiatives, including market promotion campaigns and enhancing activities at Pokhara and Bhairahawa international airports. The private sector, represented by key Nepali business leaders, accompanied PM Oli’s delegation to strengthen bilateral economic ties.
