Nepal Bank Limited Introduces Affordable Housing Loan at Lowest Interest Rate of 7.70%
Nepal Bank Limited, the first bank of Nepal, has introduced the lowest interest rate in the country's banking market at 7.70%, in response to market demand.
The bank now offers affordable housing loans under the "Sarbasulab Housing Loan" scheme, allowing customers to purchase, build, or repair houses, swap loans from other banks, or buy apartments. Loan amounts range from NPR 5 lakhs to 2 crores, with a repayment period of 5 to 25 years and a service charge discount of up to 33.33%.
Additionally, the bank has reduced interest rates on other loans, including the "Prosperous Business Loan" at 8.28% for up to NPR 10 crores, and the "NBL Auto Loan" at 7.78% for new vehicles, with repayment terms of 5 to 7 years.
Nepal Bank Limited, operating through 229 branches, 60 extension counters, and 205 ATMs nationwide, continues to prioritize customer service by embracing modern technology while maintaining its historical legacy.
