The Nepal Chamber of Commerce and the International Labor Organization (ILO) discussed Kathmandu to explore ways to make the social security fund more effective. Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, President of the Chamber, emphasized the private sector's role in creating 80% of jobs in Nepal and expressed commitment to protecting workers' rights. The meeting also addressed the challenges posed by Nepal's labor laws and the shift towards more flexible work styles. ILO officials highlighted the importance of small and medium industries in Nepal's economy and their collaboration with employers and workers.
