Nepal DP Limited Becomes Official Capital Market Partner of Lumbini Lions for Nepal Premier League 2024
Nepal DP Limited, a depository participant company jointly promoted by 10 stock broker companies, has partnered with the Lumbini Lions franchise for the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024 as its official capital market partner.
The partnership, formalized in the presence of Nepal DP CEO Mr. Anjan Raj Poudyal and Lumbini Lions Cricket Manager Mr. Raj Jung Thapa, aims to promote Nepali cricket while raising awareness about the capital market among youths and society.
Nepal DP plans to host a financial literacy panel discussion supported by its promoter stock broking companies and will offer special promotions on its products during the tournament.
The Lumbini Lions, led by Nepal’s national cricket captain Rohit Paudel, feature notable players like IPL 2016 winner Ben Cutting, former U-19 World Cup-winning captain Unmukt Chand, Canada’s Saad Bin Zafar, England’s Tom Moores, and West Indies' Raymond Simmons. National players Sandeep Zora, Bibek Yadav, and Surya Tamang also strengthen the team.
The Nepal Premier League 2024 will feature eight franchises, with Lumbini Lions set to play their first match against Biratnagar Kings on December 4, 2024.
