The Embassy of Nepal in Bangkok and the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) organized a Tourism Promotion program in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday. The event aimed to boost tourism between Nepal and Thailand and saw participation from 75 companies, including 25 from Nepal and 50 from Thailand.

Representatives from Nepal Airlines Corporation, Thai Airways, Thai Lion Air, Thai government officials, business entrepreneurs, media personnel, Non-Resident Nepali Association members, and other notable guests attended the program.

Nepal’s Ambassador to Thailand, Dhan Bahadur Oli, encouraged participants to explore Nepal's vast tourism potential. He emphasized that Nepal offers attractions for all seasons and various traveler interests, including cultural heritage sites, nature, pilgrimages, adventure activities, leisure, sports, and jungle safaris.

The Embassy expressed hope that such business meetings would foster networking, partnerships, and information sharing between the business communities of both countries, thus enhancing tourism.

During the event, Vitidnan Rojanapanich, the first Thai to summit Everest in 2008 and President of the Thai-Nepal Friendship Association, shared his experiences of Nepal and the Himalayas. Additionally, Nabin Pokharel from NTB gave a presentation titled "Experience Nepal: Lumbini to Himalayan Bliss," showcasing Nepal's key tourist attractions.
