Nepal Investment Mega Bank Expands Branchless Banking Services in Dhading

Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited has expanded its branchless banking services to Dhunibeshi, Dhading, marking a significant step in extending banking access to remote areas. The new service, available in Ward No. 9, Tyalghar, Dhunibeshi Municipality through a business representative, brings the bank’s total number of branchless banking centers to 73.

In the inauguration event, Aryan Sigdel from the bank's Digital Payments Department provided information on the services available through the branchless banking centers. Customers can now open and manage savings accounts, deposit and withdraw money, transfer funds between accounts, pay utility bills, repay loans, recharge mobile phones, and more. The bank aims to reach underserved rural areas by providing these services through business representatives equipped with the necessary electronic devices.

Currently, Nepal Investment Mega Bank serves customers through 275 branch offices, 73 branchless banking centers, 65 extension counters, and 265 ATMs. The bank plans to continue expanding its service centers to provide formal banking to rural populations lacking access to traditional banking services.
