Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NIMB) Partners with Cimex Inc. for BYD Electric Vehicle Financing

Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIMB) has announced a new partnership with Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor for BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd. in Nepal, to offer up to 80% financing on all models of BYD electric vehicles. This collaboration aims to promote electric mobility in Nepal, making sustainable transportation more accessible to the public.

Through this partnership, Nepali citizens interested in purchasing BYD electric vehicles from Cimex Inc. and its authorized dealers can apply for an auto loan at any NIMB branch. The bank has streamlined the approval process to grant loans within three working days, offering a competitive interest rate of the base price plus a 1.00% premium per annum.

The agreement was formalized with a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Mr. Jyoti Prakash Pandey, CEO of NIMB Bank, and Ms. Sandhya Shrestha of Cimex Inc. With 272 branch offices and 266 ATMs nationwide, NIMB Bank is committed to driving Nepal towards a greener future by making eco-friendly transportation solutions more attainable.
