Nepal Life Insurance Collected Highest Premium of Rs. 23.2 Arba Till Magh; What is the Status of Other Life Insurance Companies?

In their quest to increase premium collection, life insurance companies are engaged in fierce competition with one another. Over the first seven months of the fiscal year 2080/81, these companies successfully collected a staggering amount of Rs. 86.88 Arba in premiums. This significant sum was generated from a total of 1.37 crore active insurance policies held by policyholders.

As per the report, Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Company has the highest number of active policies with 3,195,345, followed by National Life Insurance Company with 1,597,712 policies. Prabu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance has the lowest number of active insurance policies with 167,678 policies.

When it comes to total insurance charges, Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited also leads the pack with charges amounting to Rs. 23.2 Arba. Life Insurance Corporation Limited follows closely with charges of Rs. 10.14 Arba and National Life Insurance Company Limited with Rs. 10 Arba.
