Nepal Life Insurance Company Provides Relief to Flood Victims in Okhaldhunga
Nepal Life Insurance Company has provided relief materials to flood victims in Okhaldhunga, Dhankuta, and Garjudhara as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts.
The company distributed essential items, including rice, lentils, salt, oil, and soap, to 45 families in Gauridanda, Jese, and Patle, with each family receiving 30 kg of rice, 2 kg each of lentils and salt, 2 liters of oil, and 4 soaps.
After severe rains from 9th to 12th Ashwin damaged three houses in Dhankuta, the company supplied zinc sheets and tents to affected households. Additionally, food assistance was provided to 30 families displaced by flooding in the Jhaple River.
CEO Pravin Raman Parajuli emphasized the company's commitment to socio-economic transformation and readiness to support affected families in the future.
The company is actively involved in various initiatives related to education, health, disaster relief, insurance awareness, and improving the lives of marginalized communities.
