Nepal Proposes Direct Flight Between Cambodia and Bhairahawa

Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, has proposed establishing a direct flight route between Cambodia and Bhairahawa, Nepal. The proposal was made during his meeting with Cambodia's Minister for Cults and Religion, Chay Borin, on Sunday.

Minister Pandey highlighted the subsidies provided by the Nepali government for airlines operating at Pokhara and Bhairahawa international airports.

The discussion also included plans for developing a Buddhist circuit to connect key Buddhist sites in both countries, along with cooperation in art, music, tourism, and culture.

Furthermore, the ministers explored initiatives to enhance cultural ties through youth engagement and educational exchange programs.

Minister Chay Borin extended an invitation to Minister Pandey for an official visit to Cambodia.
