Nepal Rastra Bank appoints Dr. Gunakar Bhatta as the spokesperson effective from Poush 16, 2076

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has appointed Dr. Gunakar Bhatta as the spokesperson. NRB had appointed Dr. Bhatta as their spokesperson effective from Poush 16, 2076. He was with NRB as special category executive director.

Dr. Bhatta, who holds a doctoral degree in economics and had previously led the research department involved in designing the monetary policy, will now be undertaking the duties of spokesperson of the central bank.

Dr. Bhatta will be replacing Mr. Laxmi Prapana Niraula, former spokesperson of NRB. Mr. Niraula completed 30 long years of service on Poush 7, 2076.
