Nepal Rastra Bank publishes names of promoters of proposed Infrastructure Bank; Requests to file complaint within 15 days if any

Nepal Rastra Bank has published the names of promoter shareholders of Nepal Infrastructure Bank. Rastra Bank has published the name list on Magh 23, 2074; and if any person has complains regarding the people mentioned in the list may file an application of complaint within 15 days. Rastra Bank has requested to file an application of complaint against the promoters of the proposed Infrastructure Bank, if any cases related to discipline, independence or moral turpitude are concerned with the promoters. The bank has 14 individual promoters while 26 corporate promoters. Individual Promoters:

The further details about individual promoters and corporate promoters: inf infrastructure Infrastructure Development Bank is required to maintain at least Rs 20 arba as their initial paid-up capital. According to NRB officials, if the bank is established under foreign investment, the promoter should invest minimum of 20 per cent to maximum of 85 per cent of its total paid-up capital. In this model, 15 per cent share should be provided to public. Likewise, if the bank is established entirely on domestic investment, promoter group should invest 51 per cent of its total paid-up capital and 30 per cent share should be floated to the public. Moreover, 0.2 per cent share should be given to the staffers of the bank.
