Nepal Rastra Bank to Announce Monetary Policy for FY 2081/82 on Sunday

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) will unveil the monetary policy for the fiscal year 2081/82 on Sunday, Shrawan 6. The central bank has completed the draft of the policy, and a meeting of the management committee was held yesterday to finalize the details.

Initially, the policy was to be finalized and approved during a board meeting on Friday morning. However, during a conversation with Dr. Prakash Kumar Shrestha, Executive Director of the Economic Research Department at Nepal Rastra Bank, it was confirmed that the monetary policy will now be publicly announced next week.
