Nepal Rastra Bank to auction new Repo worth Rs.1500 Crore; matures on 19th Asadh, 2076

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is issuing Repurchase Agreement (Repo) worth Rs.1500 crore. The agreement will mature within a period of seven days. NRB will be issuing the agreement via auction on 12^th Asadh, 2076 at 3 PM. The security matures on 19^th Asadh, 2076. The minimum bid rate should be above 5% and any bids at or below 5% rate will be rejected.

‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ Class BFIs are eligible to take part in the action of the security. NRB has been issuing Repo Agreements to supply short term liquidity in BFI’s to enable them to take active part in investing activities.
