Nepal Reinsurance Company Proposes 5% Dividend for FY 2079/80; How much in Bonus Shares and Cash?

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has proposed a 5% dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80.

The 515th meeting of the board of directors held on Baishakh 03 has decided to distribute 4.75% bonus shares worth Rs. 60.86 Crore and 0.25% cash dividend (for tax purposes) worth Rs. 3.20 crore from the paid-up capital. The current paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 12.81 Arba.

The proposed dividend is subject to approval from the Government of Nepal, the Nepal Insurance Authority, and its AGM.

As of writing, the company has an LTP of Rs. 736.10.
