Nepal Stock Exchange to Remain Close for Five Days To Mark Holiday On the Occasion of Dashain Festival

In light of the upcoming Dashain festival, a significant Hindu festival celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion, the Government of Nepal has declared a public holiday from the 4th to the 9th of Kartik. This holiday encompasses the period from Fulpati to Dwadasi, during which the nation comes together to observe this joyous occasion.

As part of this holiday announcement, Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) will be temporarily closed. The closure will extend from Sunday to Thursday, covering the dates from 4th Kartik to 9th Kartik. It's important to note that NEPSE typically remains closed on Fridays as part of its regular schedule. Regular trading on NEPSE is expected to resume on the 12th of Kartik, 2080, which falls on a Sunday at 11:00 AM.

During this holiday period, there will be no trading activities taking place at NEPSE. Investors and traders are advised to plan their financial activities accordingly, taking into account this temporary closure.
