Nepal Telecom net profit in Q2 slightly fall by 5.43% to Rs 7.48 arba; EPS at Rs 99.77 & P/E ratio at 8 times only

Nepal Telecom has posted meager fall in net profit by 5.43% in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75.
As per the unaudited report for the second quarter published by the company today, NTC has reported net profit (after tax) of Rs 7.48 arba in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75 from Rs 7.91 arba in the corresponding quarter of the fiscal year 2073/74.
Nepal Telecom has Rs.15 arba paid up capital and has huge reserve of Rs 75.34 arba.
The company’s total income slightly decreased to Rs 22.36 arba in the Q2 from Rs 22.47 arba in the corresponding quarter. Likewise, its total expenditure has increased to Rs 12.34 arba from Rs 11.72 arba.
NTC has an investment of Rs 8.78 arba in Q2 up from Rs 7.01 arba in the corresponding quarter.
Its earning per share has fallen to Rs 99.77 in Q2 compared to Rs 105.58 in the corresponding quarter. Its net worth per share stand at Rs 602.30 and P/E ratio is at Rs 8 times.
