Nepal Telecom Q1 EPS stands at Rs 108.17; P/E ratio at 6.24 times only

Nepal Telecom has posted meager fall in net profit by 2.17% in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75. As per the unaudited report for the first quarter published by the company today, NTC has reported net profit (after tax) of Rs 4.05 arba in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75 from Rs 4.14 arba in the corresponding quarter of the fiscal year 2073/74. Nepal Telecom has Rs.15 arba paid up capital and has huge reserve of Rs. 81.57 arba in reserve and surplus. The company’s total income slightly increased to Rs 11.83 arba in the Q1 from Rs 11.36 arba in the corresponding quarter. Likewise, its total expenditure has also increased to Rs 6.39 arba from Rs 5.76 arba. NTC has an investment of Rs 36.63 arba in Q1 up from Rs 24.92 arba in the corresponding quarter. Its earning per share has fallen to Rs 108.17 in Q1 compared to Rs 110.48 in the corresponding quarter. Its net worth per share stand at Rs 643.84 and P/E ratio is at Rs 6.24 times.
