Janata Agro & Forestry has partnered with Thailand’s Kasetsart University to enhance food production in Nepal using biotechnology. The agreement, signed on April 2 by Janata Agro President Pawan Golyan and Kasetsart University Vice President Dr. Krit Won-in, aims to modernize Nepal’s agricultural sector with advanced techniques, sustainable farming methods, and improved farmer livelihoods.

The collaboration will introduce organic farming innovations, soil improvement strategies, and natural pest management solutions. Regular workshops, training programs, and research studies will facilitate knowledge transfer, while a joint team will oversee project implementation. This initiative is expected to boost Nepal’s agricultural productivity, enhance product quality, and open doors for international exports.

Additionally, Janata Agro is actively promoting Nepali agricultural products in Thailand, aligning with Nepal’s goal of self-reliance and global market expansion. The partnership follows bilateral discussions between Nepal and Thailand, further strengthening agricultural and trade ties.
