Nepal Welcomes 96,880 Tourists in February 2025

Nepal recorded 96,880 tourist arrivals in February 2025, a 0.56% decline compared to the 97,226 arrivals in the same month last year, as per data from the Department of Immigration. The highest number of visitors came from India (19,187), followed by the United States (10,348), China (8,232), Thailand (5,609), and the United Kingdom (5,057). Compared to January 2025, when 79,991 tourists visited Nepal, February saw an increase in arrivals.

Tourism entrepreneurs have emphasized the need for effective strategies to boost Nepal’s tourism sector and attract more visitors. Meanwhile, in a move to improve travel convenience, the New Bus Park has introduced online ticketing services across all counters, allowing passengers to purchase tickets digitally.
