NEPALPAY Instant Offers Free Mobile Number-Based Fund Transfers to Promote Digital Transactions

To celebrate 16 years of NCHL in building the payment ecosystem and promote digital transactions, mobile number-based fund transfers via NEPALPAY Instant are now free.

Mobile Banking users of selected BFIs and connectIPS users can transfer funds for free until 16th Poush 2081 (31st December 2024) to over 31 BFIs and primary connectIPS accounts.

NEPALPAY Instant uses a virtual payment address (VPA), such as the beneficiary's mobile number, for direct credit. This service is available in Mobile Banking for various banks, including Sanima Bank, Global IME Bank, and Nepal SBI Bank.
