Nepal's Gold Market Hits All-Time High: Unprecedented Surge Today
The gold market in Nepal has witnessed an extraordinary surge, reaching an all-time high on March 28, 2024.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders' Association reported a remarkable single-day increase of Rs. 1,100, propelling the price of fine gold to an exceptional rate of Rs. 1,27,900 per tola, up from its previous rate of Rs. 1,26,800.
Similarly, Tejabi gold, another highly coveted variant, has experienced a significant rise, now valued at Rs. 1,27,300 per tola, up from its previous rate of Rs. 1,26,200.
On March 21, 2024, fine gold reached an unprecedented peak at Rs. 1,27,800 per tola, marking a historic milestone.
In line with this trend, the price of silver has also surged. Currently priced at 1,510 rupees per tola, silver saw a 20 rupee increase from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,490 per tola.
While the domestic market is observing an upward trend in prices, the international market is equally influential. As of the latest update, the current gold rate stands at $2,194.50 per ounce. Internationally, silver is also witnessing positive momentum, with prices reaching $24.59 per ounce.
