NEPSE Able To Close Above 2100 Levels; HRL Sees Highest Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 10.26 points, or 0.48%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,104.72 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 10.37 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,097.48 hitting an intraday low of 2,097.23, and reaching an intraday high of 2,114.79.
During today's trading, there were 311 different stocks traded in 1,03,153 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 12,322,705 with a total turnover of Rs. 4.56 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 33.07 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.38 Kharba.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 60.16 crore, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 670.
Similarly, Three companies hit positive circuit today.
On the flip side, Garima Debenture, 2085 (GBBD85) experienced the highest loss of 10%.
In terms of sector indices, Three sectors indices closed in red today. The "Other Index" saw the highest gain of 1.64%, while the "Non-Life Insurance Index" saw a loss of 0.11%.
