NEPSE Bounces Back with Double-Digit Gain After Three Days of Consecutive Loss, Five Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) bounced back with a double-digit gain of 24.50 points (0.93%) today, closing at 2,657.77. This recovery comes after a similar decline of 10.61 points in the previous trading session.

Opening at 2,635.07, NEPSE experienced fluctuations, reaching a high of 2,657.96 and a low of 2,634.69 during the day. The market recorded a total turnover of Rs. 9.40 Arba, with 19,680,195 shares traded across 325 listed companies in 95,097 transactions.

Saptakoshi Development Bank Ltd (SAPDBL) emerged as the leader in turnover, recording trades worth Rs. 38.21 crores, with its share price closing at Rs. 1,392.40.

Five companies topped the gainers' list, achieving a 10% rise in each share price.

Meanwhile, Dolti Power Company Limited (DOLTI) faced the day's steepest decline, losing 8.43% in value.

Among sector indices, the Development Bank Index saw the highest growth, climbing 4.07% while the Life Insurance Index posted the least incline, dropping by 0.08%.
