NEPSE Bounces Back with Double-Digit Gain While Overall Volume Inclined To Rs. 9.47 Arba, Five Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a double-digit gain today, rising by 19.56 points (0.73%) to close at 2,698.03. This follows a previous session loss of 7.26 points.
The trading session commenced at 2,676.92, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,698.31 and a low of 2,675.90. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 9.47 Arba, encompassing 20,984,440 shares traded across 309 companies through 96,282 transactions.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 33.54 crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 1,411.
Five scrips emerged as the top gainers with a 10% increase each.
Conversely, Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 10%.
Sector-wise, the Finance Index registered the highest gain, advancing by 4.94%, while the Non-life Insurance Index experienced the most significant decline, falling by 1.28%.
