NEPSE closes at 1142.60 points after gaining 7.79 points today; Hydropower sector gains the most among sub-indices

The market today was in the green zone for the whole day and closed with gain of 0.69% or 7.79 points. The benchmark index stood at 1142.60 points. The turnover amount was Rs.16.37 Crore achieved through trade of 604,728 units of shares traded through 3,153 transactions trading scrips of 153 listed companies in the process.

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) dominated the trade with turnover of Rs.2.72 Crore achieved through trade of 102,893 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stands at Rs.263 per share.

Neco Insurance Company Limited (NIL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.98% or 21 points and closed at Rs.372 per share. Dibyashwari Hydropower Limited (DHPL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.35% or 3 points and closed at Rs.53 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.68 points and closed at 250.17 points while Float Index gained 0.61 points and closed at 84.76 points.

Today all the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points. Hydropower sector gained the most at 1.73%.
