NEPSE Closes at Intraday High of 1392.68; Total Turnover 97.78 crores with All Sectors Gaining Besides Hotels

The market today made high and low of 1392.68 points and 1363.21 points respectively. The benchmark index gained points at 11.35 points or 0.82% and closed at its intraday high.

The market lost for the first half-hour or so and then began to rise up, eventually closing at the intraday high. 

The turnover amount stood at Rs.97.78 crores while 3,212,379 shares traded hands. 187 scrips were traded via 30,200 transactions.

Ajod Insurance Limited (AIL) had the highest turnover at Rs.9.21 crores with LTP at Rs.467 per share. Ajod Insurance Limited was also ahead in terms of volume with 199,382 units of shares traded for the day.

Ajod Insurance was also today’s top gainer as it gained 9.88% or 42 points. 

Ganapati Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GMFBS) was the top loser after losing 3.85% or 31points, closing at Rs.775 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.46 points and closed at 291.02 points while Float Index gained 0.83 points and closed at 97.54 points.

Only the Hotels sector lost 1.8% today. Among all other sectors that gained today, Mutual Fund gained the most 2.02%.
