NEPSE Closes Higher, Gaining 14.11 Points; JFL Leads Turnover While Overall Volume Reaches Rs. 5.20 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) inclined by 14.11 points (0.54%) today, closing at 2,626.31, following a double-digit gainof 28.91 points in the previous session.

The market opened at 2,615.67 and saw fluctuations, reaching an intraday high of 2,645.20 and a low of 2,612.94.

The total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 5.20 Arba, with 64,917 transactions involving 12,746,410 shares across 312 companies. 

Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) led the turnover chart with Rs. 20.07 crores in trades, closing at Rs. 908 per share.

On the gainers' side, three companies posted the highest growth, rising by 10% each.

Conversely, Support Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SMB) saw a significant drop of 10%.

Among sectors, the Development Bank Index registered the highest rise, inclining at 1.75%, while the Manufacturing and Processing Index saw the largest decline at 2.32%.
