NEPSE Closes Higher, Gaining 33.41 Points; NFS Leads Turnover While Overall Volume Reaches Rs. 7.44 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) posted an incline of 33.41 points (1.24%) today, closing at 2,716.66. This follows a gain of 15.83 points in the previous session.
The market opened at 2,704.58 and exhibited volatility throughout the day, with an intraday low of 2,685.64 and a high of 2,719.84. A total turnover of Rs. 7.44 Arba was recorded from 14,292,742 shares traded across 312 companies in 75,572 transactions.
Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) led trading activity with a turnover of Rs. 45.78 crores, closing at Rs. 1,550.
Notably, three scrips gained the highest 10% each.
On the downside, Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) suffered the steepest decline, falling by 10%.
Sector-wise, the "Hydropower Index" gained the highest 1.97%, while the "Mutual Fund Index" gained the least 0.23%.
