NEPSE Closes with a Gain of 11.66 Points; Others Index Leads Incline While Turnover Reached Rs. 11.54 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a minimal gain today, rising by 11.66 points (0.42%) to close at 2,755.40. This follows a previous session gain of 3.14 points.

The trading session commenced at 2,724.09, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,768.90 and a low of 2,690.42. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 11.54 Arba, encompassing 21,206,005 shares traded across 328 companies through 108,913 transactions.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 95.64 crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 982.

Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited (GMLI) emerged as the top gainer with a 10% increase.

Conversely, Reliance Finance Ltd. (RLFL) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 7.24%.

Sector-wise, the Others Index registered the highest gain, advancing by 3.72%, while the Trading Index experienced the most significant decline, falling by 1.32%.
