NEPSE Closes with a Loss of 12.38 Points; Finance Sector Leads Decline

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a decline today, falling by 12.38 points (0.46%) to close at 2,669.76. This follows a previous session decline of 14.88 points.
The trading session commenced at 2,679.97, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,685.87 and a low of 2,666.69. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 4.56 Arba, encompassing 9,599,343 shares traded across 312 companies through 55,476 transactions.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 28.21 Crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 1,277.90.
Dolti Power Company Limited (DOLTI) emerged as the top gainer with a 7.53% increase.

Conversely, the two companies faced the steepest decline, dropping by 10% each.
Among sectoral indices, the Life Insurance Index registered the highest gain, rising 0.03%, while the Finance Index saw the biggest drop, declining by 1.35%.
