NEPSE Closes with a Loss of 14.53 Points; Investment Sector Leads Decline

In today's session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) lost 14.53 points (0.54%) to close at 2,647.07. This follows a 3.58-point gain in the previous session.

The index opened at 2,661.01, reaching an intraday high of 2,676.05 and a low of 2,645.24. The total turnover stood at Rs. 8.91 Arba, with 23,689,071 shares exchanged across 327 companies through 76,998 transactions. 

Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 70.94 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 354.50.

Two companies led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.

Meanwhile, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited (SAPDBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 8.93%.

Among sectors, the Finance Index posted the highest gain of 1.40%, whereas the Investment Index saw the highest decline of 2.14%.
