NEPSE Closes with a Loss of 5.57 Points; Others Sector Leads Decline

In today's session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by 5.57 points (0.20%) to close at 2,670.70. This follows a 9.66-point gain in the previous session.

The index opened at 2,677.58, reaching an intraday high of 2,687.92 and a low of 2,667.00. The total turnover stood at Rs. 5.63 Arba, with 11,384,725 shares exchanged across 321 companies through 49,632 transactions.

Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 35.94 Crores in trades and closing at Rs. 470.10 per share.

Crest Micro Life Insurance Limited (CREST) and Nepal Micro Insurance Company Limited (NMIC) topped the gainers' list, surging 9.98% each.

Meanwhile, Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited (BNL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.37%.

Among sectors, the Microfinance Index posted the highest gain of 0.38%, whereas the Others Index saw the highest decline of 0.90%.
