NEPSE Concludes First Trading Day of the Week With 0.39% Loss: SONA Sees Highest Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 7.29 points, or 0.39%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 1,851.23 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 18.06 points for the index.
The index opened trading at 1858.47 and had an intraday low of 1,837.85 and an intraday high of 1,861.67.
There were 293 different stocks traded in 36,977 transactions during today's session. 3,419,073 shares were traded, resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 96.40 Crore. With a float market capitalization of Rs. 9.94 Kharba, the market capitalization was Rs. 28.54 Kharba.
At a market price of Rs. 295, Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) finished with the highest turnover of Rs. 6.95 crores for today.
Likewise, today's highest gainer is Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL), at 9.63%. Following the line is Sabaiko Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SABSL) at 9.04%.
Conversely, today's biggest loss were recorded by Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN), United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited (UMRH), and NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) at 9.99% each and 9.98%.
Today, all sector indicies closed in the red, except for "Microfinance Index". "Microfinance Index" saw the most gain of 0.06%, whereas "Mutual Fund" saw a loss of 1.25%.
