NEPSE Concludes Last Trading Day Before Dashain With 0.18% Gain; Market Cap at Rs. 42.42 Kharba

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 2,668.17 points, as the index experienced a gain of 4.85 points, or 0.18% compared to the previous day's closing. The index witnessed a notable loss of 27.39 points on the last trading day as well.
The trading started with the index opening at 2,661.8 hitting an intraday low of 2,643.12, whereas the intraday high was 2,672.65.
During today's trading, there were 294 different stocks traded in 40,131 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 8,312,685 units with a total turnover of Rs. 3.76 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.42 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.94 Kharba.
Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 22.01 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 1,390.00.
Similarly, Two companies hit positive circuit today.
On the flip side, Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) lost the highest 10% today.
In terms of sector indices, four sectors closed red with the "Manufacturing And Processing Index" gaining the highest 1.05%. Meanwhile, the "Trading Index" recorded the most losses with a 0.65% negative change.
