Part 1: Rundown and Technical Analysis

This week, the market traded for four trading days as Wednesday was a holiday of Ram Navami. The NEPSE Index closed at 1,972.14 after losing 53.16 points (2.62%). The index closed at 2,025.30 last week, gaining 1.06% from the previous week.

This week, the index went as high as 2,031.86 and as low as 1,967.45 hence witnessing volatility of 64.41 points. The index had seen volatility of 45.40 points in the previous week.

The highest intraday loss was 19.57 points on Thursday with a turnover of Rs 2.09 Arba, however, the total turnover stood at Rs 10.05 Arba this week.

The RSI reading on the daily timeframe is 35.09. Meanwhile, the RSI reading on the weekly chart is 45.73.

1,940 -1,960 zone may act as the nearest support whereas, the 2,120 zone will act as resistance.
