Part 1: Rundown and Technical Analysis

Nepse index closed at 2,042.07 this week after a gain of 102.46 points (5.28%). The index closed at 1,939.61 last week with a gain of 3.93% from the week before that.

This week, the index went as high as 2,066.99 and as low as 1,941.76 hence witnessing volatility of 125.23 points. The index had seen a volatility of 84.84 points in the previous week.

Analysis of Trend and Volume

Trend analysis is a technical analysis method that helps to predict future movement based on the current ongoing trend data. The daily charts show that the short-term trend and mid-term trend both are bullish.

The highest intraday gain was 40.48 points on Sunday with a turnover of Rs 3.45 Arba, however, the total turnover stood at Rs 18.64 Arba this week.

1,970 zone may act as the nearest support whereas, the 2100 zone will act as resistance.
