The NEPSE Index closed at 2,568.11 after gaining 143.79 points (5.93%). The index closed at 2,424.32 last week gaining 9.97% from the previous week.

This week, the index went as high as 2,600.41 and as low as 2,408.25 hence witnessing volatility of 192.16 points. The index had seen volatility of 192.3 points in the previous week.

The highest intraday gain was 75.34 points on Tuesday with a turnover of Rs 14.11 Arba, however, the total turnover stood at Rs 73.61 Arba this week.

 

Momentum Indicators

The RSI reading on the daily timeframe is 86.01. Meanwhile, the RSI reading on the weekly chart is 73.61.

Conversely, the MACD and Signal lines are in the positive zone i.e., above zero with the MACD reading at 71.56.

Nepse Index is above the 20-day Exponential Moving Average and the 5-day Exponential Moving Average. The Index above the moving average indicates earlier bullish sentiment.

2,240 -2,300 zone may act as the nearest support whereas, the 2,750 -2,980 zone will act as resistance.
