The market traded for Three days this week as Tuesday and Thursday were a public holiday.

The NEPSE Index closed at 2,576.76 after losing 111.77 points (4.16%). The index closed at 2,688.53 last week losing 1.42% from the previous week.

This week, the index went as high as 2,734.58 and as low as 2,551.40 hence witnessing volatility of 183.18 points. The index had seen volatility of 158.54 points in the previous week.

The highest intraday loss was 50.74 points on Sunday with a turnover of Rs 10.33 Arba, however, the total turnover stood at Rs 23.37 Arba this week.

 

Momentum Indicators

The RSI reading on the daily timeframe is 40.02. Meanwhile, the RSI reading on the weekly chart is 58.01.

Conversely, the MACD and Signal lines are in the negative zone i.e., below zero with the MACD reading at -23.41.

Nepse Index is below the 20-day Exponential Moving Average and the 5-day Exponential Moving Average. The Index below the moving average indicates earlier bearish sentiment.

2,570 level may act as the nearest support whereas, the 2,700 zone will act as resistance.
