NEPSE Continues Gaining Momentum: Up 27.54 Points To Settle At 2,092 Levels; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 5.85 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a gain of 1.33%, or 27.54 points, settling at 2,092 points at the close of trading today, following a gain of a huge 45.69 points in the previous session.
Today the index opened at 2,069.88 and then made the intraday low at 2,069.52. In contrast, it went as high as 2,121.01 and ultimately closed at 2,092.
With a bustling trading environment, 315 stocks were exchanged in 80,982 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 14,370,689 with a total turnover of Rs. 5.85 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 33.17 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.28 Kharba.
Pokhara Finance Limited (PFL) emerged as the day's highlight with a turnover of Rs. 19.92 Crore, closing at a market price of Rs. 693.60.
Similarly, Four Companies hit a positive circuit for today.
Conversely, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) faced a decline, losing 7.40% to close at Rs. 1,852.00.
In terms of sector indices, five sector indices closed in red today. The "Banking Index" saw the highest gain of 4.18%, while the "Microfinance Index" saw the highest decline of 0.65%.
