NEPSE Down By 10.50 Points To Close at 2,085.82 Levels; SAMAJ Hit Positive Circuit Today As Well

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 10.50 points, or 0.50%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,085.82 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 5.74 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,101.28 hitting an intraday low of 2,083.60, and reaching an intraday high of 2,109.32.
During today's trading, there were 305 different stocks traded in 83,877 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 10,571,199 with a total turnover of Rs. 4.08 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.78 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.25 Kharba.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 62.47 crores, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 694.
Similarly, Samaj Laghubittya Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SAMAJ) showed the highest gain of 10%, followed by Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) with a gain of 9.99%.
On the flip side, NIC ASIA Growth Fund-2 (NICGF2) experienced the highest loss of 10%.
In terms of sector indices, Three sector indices closed in green today. The "HydroPower Index" saw the highest gain of 0.22%, while the "Manufacturing And Processing Index" saw a loss of 2.88%.
